Let's talk about strength. Specifically, the kind of strength that surprises you when life throws a ton of bricks at you. I'm talking about the moments when you hit rock bottom and think, "There's no way I can get through this." I've been there, more than once, and I want you to know you're not alone.
The Moment of Truth.
We've all faced these tough times. Feeling overwhelmed and questioning whether you have what it takes to get back up. The moment you get that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach, and it can be so hard to see a way out.
There was a time in my life when everything seemed to go wrong all at once. I was battling relationship issues. Work stress and overwhelm was sending me under, and being a full time carer for my Mum was all too much, for just one mind and body to handle, on top of it all. To say I hit burn out was an understatement.
"How am I ever going to get through this?" I would often ask myself. It felt like I was carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders, and I was exhausted. I was a living the rat race, the daily grind for sure. Basically, it was groundhog day in zombie mode.
There was a moment. I can't remember at what point it was, and I thought, "sack this!" It was in this moment I realised that my strength was waiting for me.
Looking back now, I realise I have been manifesting my whole life. Even though I didn't know what it was at the time. I'm completely blown away by the power of visualisation, because I know this is what gave that strength and it's what keeps me moving forward everyday. Just second nature to me now.
I used to go over and over in my mind, the various situations. I used to imagine myself just packing up and leaving. I used to think about telling all the families that I was stopping my business. And although it hurt me to think about it, it made me feel relief for my life, and the unknow that was out there waiting for me.
I realised my worth. I imagined a life of peace and happiness. And that was enough for me. It was enough to be able to process this over and over in my mind. Enough to walk away from it all and feel okay about it. And one day, that's just what I did. Except I didn't look at it like I was quitting. I was getting my life back. I was finding myself in the midst of all the B.S.

Finding Your Inner Strength.
Why am I writing this blog? Because, it's such a common setback I come across with my coaching clients or even clients that come for treatments with me. Overwhelm, burn out and lack of self-confidence. I literally feel the pain that they are going through and I just want to let you know that there are ways out!
Every time life knocks you down, you have a choice: You can stay down or get back up. I'm here to tell you that you get to choose. You can choose to get back up.
When I started to shift my mindset and focus on my ability to overcome, everything changed. Instead of feeling trapped, I began to see every setback as an opportunity for growth. You might feel like your at the bottom of a wishing well now, but trust-me, there is a survivor inside of you that is just waiting to rise up.
You Were Not Built To Break!
Listen, you were not built to break. You have what it takes to overcome any challenge. Pain is only temporary, but the strength you gain through pushing through is lasting. Once you come through the other side, something inside of you will shift, and you will become unstoppable.
Next time you get that sinking feeling, remember: You have the power to choose how you respond. Look back at those moments when you thought you couldn't go on and realise you made it through. You can do it again, and again.
Final Thoughts.
Life is messy, unpredictable and a lot of times it can be tough. But it's all of these moments that help us to realise who we truly are. Believe me when I say you can trust in your strength. You are capable of so much more than you realise.
So the next time life throws you a pile of crap, stand tall and remind yourself: I've got this. I am stronger than my struggles. You can rise above anything that comes your way!
